Our main studio is a rehearsal, teaching and livestream/recording space with a beautiful custom built Venables and Son C218 7ft Grand Piano, available for competitive hourly hire, situated in the grounds of Falkland Lodge, a 19th Century gatehouse on South Norwood Hill, South London.

We want as many people as possible to enjoy this special place and we want to make everyone feel like our guests.   We regularly welcome musicians from classical, folk, pop music and musical theatre.

This room has been refined over many years to best respond to the needs of all the musicians who pass through here.  Recording facilities (through our team of engineers, producers and videographers) can all be done "in house", meaning this is a one-stop shop.  Simply turn up and play/sing and we will do the rest.  It is a beautiful and inspirational space in which to rehearse and teach.

We are a community, and we support studio members wherever possible, but that's not all - proceeds from studio hire also help to support our community education work, through our sister organisation, SFL Community Music - so not only will you have access to a beautiful space, but you will also be helping support those who may not otherwise have access to music provision.
